According to the Kent Director publication, the latest information from the Federation of Small Businesses reveals that small businesses are in a robust mood.
It reports that confidence is up and nearly two thirds aspire to grow moderately or rapidly in the next three months. Their desire to grow can be backed up by the FSB Productivity index which shows that annual output for workers rose by 1.4% year on year among small firms compared to 0.3% for the economy as a whole.
Michael Parkes share that positive mood and their Head of Agency Emma Catterall comments that she has seen echoes of this when dealing with small local businesses who have been buying and letting with Michael Parkes Surveyors. Emma says “businesses in Medway seem very positive at the moment and we have seen an increase in the rate of letting properties. We wish all the local businesses well and enjoy helping them to make the right decision whether it be during a rent review, a lease renewal or letting a property”.
